The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens is the oldest and perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Hong Kong. Located a short walking distance up the hill from Central, it is a tranquil environment where one can truly feel like they have escaped the city. There are over 1,000 species of plants in addition to a zoological collection comprising birds and mammals. Admission is free.

By connie
